General Information for all CPI Candidates
FEES: The average class fee
for each Level is $395. Your class fee includes instruction and
all Paverpol materials (see below). It does not include
transportation, lodging or meals. Upon paid registration, your
Professional Paverpol Trainer (PPT) will send you travel and
hotel information. Please let them know on the registration form
if you have any special needs. Refunds requested in writing more
than 30 days prior to the workshop will be honored. Refunds
requested in writing between 16-29 days in advance of workshop
are less 50% workshop fee. All monies paid are non-refundable 15
days prior to the workshop
MATERIALS TO BRING: The fee includes the cost of all
Paverpol products and a few random items used during the 2-day
class. Refer to your Level One, Two or Three materials list for
the items you will need to provide.
DISCOUNT ON PAVERPOL: 15% at Level One; 20% at Level Two
and 25% at Level Three. Discounts are off MSRP with opening
order minimum of $250; reorder minimum $100. 30% discount off
MSRP with orders over $500.

WHAT IS THE “PAVERPARTY?”
Once a year, the CPIs are invited to gather for a weekend of fun
and fellowship at a PaverParty. These events are hosted by PPTs
in different areas of the country and all CPIs are invited. In
addition to sharing new techniques and meeting new friends, we
test new products and develop new projects. CPIs usually bring
innovative new embellishments or compatible products for all to
see and share. Activities typically include welcome reception,
art show, workshops, a group dinner, and a Show-and-Tell all
weekend. There is a registration fee for the PaverParty which
varies according to location. CPIs pay the registration and
instructor fees for their workshops and their own expenses. We
book a group of rooms at a discount rate for this event, and
many of the CPIs split the cost and have a roommate. Every three
years, the National PaverParty will be held in our corporate
hometown of Baltimore, MD.
WHAT ARE “PUSA BOOT CAMPS?”
Boot Camps are special weekend enrichment workshops held by PPTs
around the country. These workshops are usually about $75 per
session, and there are usually several sessions from which to
choose. The fee covers instruction in new products and
techniques, most materials and instruction sheets for you to
print for your own classes.
WHAT ARE “PPT PLAYDAYS?”
PPT Playdays are a once-a-year event held by your PPT. Each PPT
plans their own event. Your PPT will contact you with details.
WHAT ELSE IS EXPECTED OF A CPI?
CPIs agree to submit digital high resolution photos of their
work to Paverpol USA released for use in the website, in print
or video. CPIs are also encouraged to help promote themselves by
submitting their work to arts and crafts publications.
Misrepresentation of the product, its qualities, use or
substitution of products will be cause for immediate revocation
of your certification. CPIs must attend the PaverParty once
every three years to recertify. CPIs will be listed in a
searchable database on the Paverpol USA website so students can
find you. This service is complimentary for the first year after
certification. A $35 annual fee is charged for subsequent yearly
listings.
WHAT IS MY RELATIONSHIP WITH PAVERPOL USA?
CPIs are not employees or independent contractors of Paverpol
USA, Inc. You are responsible for scheduling your own classes.
Your business is your own and is subject to all taxes and
regulations of your state and the IRS. Your state may require
you to be licensed to resell products. You should be able to
find this information on your state’s website under “licenses
and permits”. If you are required to have a resale permit, you
must apply for it and provide a copy to your PPT or Paverpol
USA. There is no agreement other than train and sell and this
relationship can be terminated by either party with 30 days
notice without penalty.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT OF MY PPT?
Every CPI who finishes successfully will receive a certificate
and a listing on their PPT’s web site as long as he/she remains
in good standing. Your PPT will be available for help and
guidance in all matters Paverpol. The PPT also helps promote the
CPIs and encourages their growth by recommending ways to help
build their business and scope of work.
