Because of the large area we have to cover and number of
requests we receive, we cannot possibly conduct
all workshops from our Baltimore location. We
are training instructors across the USA. Our
CPIs (Certified Paverpol Instructors) are
required to complete an initial training
program, submit projects for jury, plan and
teach a workshop under supervision and attend
annual “train-the-trainer” workshops for
recertification. They also receive the latest
product news, new techniques and participate in
CPI-only forums.
There are three levels of certification: FabriSculpt,
PaverSculpt and Master Paverpol Artist.
The CPI workshops are usually held in Baltimore, MD. Workshop
fees include all materials, lunch both days,
two-night hotel stay at the Hilton Garden Inn at
White Marsh, transportation from and to BWI
Airport and to and from hotel to workshop site,
and a group outing for Maryland Steamed Crabs
and Corn on Saturday evening.
FabriSculpt includes Paverpol product basics,
colorizing
transparent Paverpol, armature making and structural integrity,
figure building, figure wrapping, fabric draping and dressing,
Pavercotton wigs and embellishments.
Bring two 100% cotton t-Shirts to this workshop. This is a
prerequisite for PaverSculpt.
The weekend workshop includes:
Day One:
Introduction to Paverpol Products; Coloring Paverpol and Project
1- Mixed Media Composition on Canvas; Project 2- Small
Seated, Monochromatic figure on wood base.
Day Two:
Armature
building and Structural integrity. Project 3- Large Standing
figure on base.

We had a wildly creative group at our
Oct 8 & 9 CPI FabriSculpt Workshop! This
was the first group to have the
three-project requirement for the
two-day workshop, and they completed it
all with flying colors! They endured
traveling around Baltimore in five
inches of rain, but all enjoyed a feast
of Maryland steamed crabs and corn on
Saturday night! Pictured here with their
wonderful projects are: Karen from Chatsworth,
CA; Cindy from Escondido, CA and Deborah
from Fairfax, VA. They are now
pre-certified to teach FabriSculpt
workshops, and will receive their final
review and full certification in
January. Look for their bios soon on our
website. Thank you, ladies, for an
exciting weekend!

Follow-Up: 1. Students create four additional independent
projects, one of which must include something we did not cover
in the workshop. 2. Students design, organize and plan a
workshop. They conduct the workshop under supervision of a
Master CPI. 3. Upon successful completion of the prior items,
the student is certified.
Fee: $750
PaverSculpt
certification builds on the FabriSculpt skills by adding
process and technique with Paverplast,
Art Stone and Wood Structure Powder. Fees and schedule TBA.
Master Paverpol Artist recognition is achieved by successfully completing
FabriSculpt and PaverSculpt certification AND original project
designs, new material inclusions and an outstanding workshop
history.
There is also a product discount program and other incentives
for each level of certification.
We currently have CPIs in Weston/Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Seattle,
WA; Baltimore, MD and Hubbell, NE. Some of our instructors
travel around the country to do Paverpol workshops. We will post
their bios, schedules and contact information as soon as we
receive it. |
